This gigantic leaf had just fallen in our path as we walked throught the indoor gardens. You can't really judge the scale by looking at this photo, but this leaf must have been close to 3 feet across.
One of the only bad things we had to say about the Atlanta Botanical Gardens was that this particular section of the gardens seemed to be in very bad shape. There was a lot of dead plant matter on the larger palms and quite a few of the specimens did not look healthy at all. It seemed like they needed some maintenance work done and from the look of things, there was allot more attention given to the plants in the Fuqua Orchid Center.
