The Atlanta Center for Puppetry Arts has been adding to its collection of puppets and marionettes for 3 decades now. It has over 1000 puppets from around the world in every shape, size and form imaginable. One of our favorites was this smaller primitive handmade ballerina puppet on display in one of the glass cases.
Other notable puppets were Arjuna, an Indonesian/Javanese shadow puppet, Coquelin Cadet, a French shadow puppet, Xelas, a wall mounted shape changer puppet, the humongous praying mantis puppet, and the beautifully detailed cowboy marionette.
