The High Museum of Art is a marvelous example of modern architecture and minimalistic design.

I think one of our problems with the High is that somehow the art is possibly not strong enough to compete with the architecture it is housed in.

The new section of the museum was designed by Italian architect, Renzo Piano. In 2006, Time magazine noted "Renzo Piano is an absolute master of light and lightness." The photo above is a beautiful testament to that fact.
