Room is one of Concentric Restaurants’ newest creations. This is the company run by Bob Amick and Todd Rushing. They also own and run a long list of trendy successful bar/pub/restaurants likes: One Midtown Kitchen, Two Urban Licks, Trois, Tap-A GastroPub, Murphy’s, Lobby (at Atlantic Station), Stats and Luma on Park. The design of the space is incredibly bright, clean, open and slick. The concept is half modern steakhouse/ half sushi bar.
The martinis and cocktails are a major part of the experience. They are brilliant, exotic and tasty (if not a little too sweet for our taste). The food at Room at Hotel Twelve is beautifully conceived and prepared. During our stay in Atlanta we had all three meals here and we were never disappointed. The steak and mushroom soup is exceptional and the pistachio crème brule is not to be missed.
When you stay at Hotel Twelve at Centennial Park, having the restaurant and bar in the lobby is a fabulous convenience. You can order their food for room service also. The hotel, the bar and the restaurant are a very short walk from the MARTA Civic Center Station.
